Dr. Anna Liakh is an oral and maxillofacial radiologist focused on providing clear, clinically meaningful imaging reports. A graduate of East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine, she completed an AEGD at the Togus VA Medical Center and later trained in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at the University of Florida after several years in general practice, where her passion for CBCT interpretation took root.

Who reads the studies at Insight Dental Radiology?

All studies are personally interpreted by Dr. Anna Liakh, DMD, an oral and maxillofacial radiologist with advanced specialty training and active clinical experience.

Which CBCT report should I choose: Screening or Advanced?

The Screening Report: A concise, text-only radiology report focused on identifying clinically significant findings. This option is ideal for straightforward cases or when the primary goal is to rule out significant pathology. It is often selected when imaging was obtained for a specific purpose, but a review of the entire scan is desired to ensure no additional clinically significant findings are present

The Advanced Report : A comprehensive radiology report that includes detailed interpretation, measurements, annotated images, a concise impression, and practical clinical recommendations. This option is recommended for treatment planning, complex cases, referrals, or when visual documentation is helpful for communication with colleagues or patients.

How much does a CBCT report cost, and how long does it take?

A Screening CBCT Report is $80, an Advanced CBCT Report is $85 for a limited field of view and $95 for a medium or large field of view, a TMJ study is $130, and a Panoramic & 2D Report is $50. Standard turnaround is 1-3 business days, and a 12-hour rush service is available for an additional $20. Completed cases are combined into one invoice, sent by email on the first business day of each month and paid securely through the portal. Full pricing is on our Services & Pricing page.

Can you provide a second opinion or overread of a previously interpreted study?

Yes. We provide independent overreads of existing CBCT and dental imaging studies for dentists seeking additional clinical insight, clarification of findings, or a specialist second opinion.

Please note: Our services are provided exclusively to licensed dental professionals. We do not offer radiology consultations directly to patients. If you would like a study reviewed, please ask your dentist or treating clinician to submit the case through our secure portal on your behalf.

Is the portal HIPAA-compliant?

Yes. Please use the portal for any information containing protected health information (PHI). Email should be reserved for general questions only and should not contain patient information.

Can I talk to a radiologist if I have a question?

Yes. Established clients have direct access to the radiologist through the portal or by phone.

What imaging modalities do you interpret?

We provide interpretation services for CBCT, panoramic radiographs, and other 2D dental imaging studies.

We do not interpret MRI, ultrasound, or hospital-based medical imaging studies, allowing us to maintain a dedicated focus on dental and maxillofacial imaging.
