Insight Dental Radiology receives patient imaging and health information from dental practices. This page explains how studies, reports, and practice data are handled.

Secure, HIPAA-compliant portal

All studies, reports, invoices and messages are exchanged through the IDR portal at https://portal.idradiology.com/. Connections to the portal are encrypted (HTTPS).

Protected health information only through the portal

Protected health information (PHI) should be shared only through the portal. Email is intended for general questions and should not contain patient information.

Who reads your studies

Every study is interpreted personally by Dr. Anna Liakh, DMD, an Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist. No one else has access to the studies.

Storage

Images are removed from the portal as soon as they are downloaded for interpretation, and completed reports are also removed from the portal after delivery. Studies and reports are kept in local storage, not in a cloud service.

Business Associate Agreements

Any business associate agreements (BAAs) are executed separately, where required. Contact us to request one.

Payments

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card details.
