CBCT Reporting Services

Our CBCT reports support all dental specialties with clear, focused analyses as part of our dental radiology services. We cover orthodontics, endodontics, impacted teeth, implant planning, TMJ and airway evaluation, plus periodontics, supporting consistent patient care across a wide range of clinical needs. Each report delivers actionable insights to guide diagnosis and treatment planning.

Orthodontics

Assessment of dentoalveolar relationships, eruption paths, and third-molar positions, with screening for asymmetries and root-resorption risk to support safe tooth movement.

Endodontics

Maps complex canal anatomy (including extra canals), evaluates periapical pathology and resorption, and flags suspected fractures or perforations to guide diagnosis and retreatment.

Impacted Teeth

3D localization with proximity to vital structures (IAN, sinus, adjacent roots), resorption risk analysis, and surgical approach considerations.

Implant Planning

Restoratively oriented measurements of bone height/width and available space, anatomic landmark mapping (IAN, mental foramen, sinus), and notes on grafting or sinus lift needs.

TMJ

CBCT evaluation of osseous components (condylar morphology, cortical integrity, erosions/osteophytes, and degenerative changes) performed within the scope of maxillofacial radiology, with guidance for further imaging if indicated.

Airway Evaluation

Volumetric analysis and minimal cross-sectional area identification, highlighting sites of narrowing and providing screening data to support referrals for sleep-related assessment.

Periodontics

Characterizes intrabony and furcation defects, buccal/lingual plate loss, dehiscence/fenestrations, and root proximity; helps prioritize periodontal therapy and maintenance.

Oral Pathology Screening

Screens for cysts and benign neoplasms, fibro-osseous changes, sinus disease, and soft-tissue calcifications as part of comprehensive dental radiology evaluation, with referral recommendations and differential considerations.

Our mission is to elevate diagnostic accuracy and improve patient care outcomes by providing comprehensive, systematic, and well-organized interpretation reports of all dental images.

FAQ

What’s the difference between Advanced, Screening, and Panoramic & 2D Reports?

Advanced Report: A comprehensive dental radiology report providing a detailed interpretation with measurements and full analysis of relevant anatomical structures. Includes annotated radiology images, a concise impression, and practical clinical recommendations to support accurate diagnosis, treatment, and implant planning. These reports are read by an experienced oral and maxillofacial radiologist and are commonly used for complex cases such as impacted teeth, TMJ assessment, and airway evaluation.

Screening Report: A brief, text-only radiology report focused on identifying significant findings and addressing key clinical concerns, without images or measurements. This option supports efficient patient care and decision-making. If a more detailed evaluation is required, the case may be upgraded to an Advanced Report at the radiologist’s discretion. You’ll be notified before any changes are made.

Panoramic & 2D Report: A concise dental radiology report based on panoramic and other 2D imaging studies. These reports focus on clinically relevant findings in routine dental practice and typically do not include advanced measurements or three-dimensional analyses, making them well suited for recall exams and general dentistry.

All reports follow the same timelines (standard 2–3 business days; 12-hour rush service available).

How am I billed, and how do I pay?

You’ll receive an email notification with a consolidated invoice on the first business day of each month covering all reading services requested in the prior month. Payments are completed securely through our secure portal, providing reliable access for your practice and administrative team.

Do you offer a rush option?

Yes. A 12-hour rush service is available for an additional fee. Select “Rush” when submitting your request through the portal.
